The A5 Student Challenge Program

The A5 Student Challenge Program centers on developing a conceptual plan for constructing a University Park in Hainan Island, south China. This innovative park will be shared by five top-tier Chinese universities, each establishing branch campuses on this collaborative site.
Participating Universities

The University Park will host branch campuses from five prestigious institutions: China Agricultural University, Ocean University of China, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Wuhan University of Technology. This collaborative approach aims to create a unique academic ecosystem in Hainan.
Program Structure

The program follows a \”1+X\” initiative structure, where \”1\” represents the overall conceptual campus plan, and \”X\” encompasses special planning and detailed design for one or several themes that support the comprehensive campus vision. This dual approach ensures both macro and micro planning elements are addressed.
