From July 21 to 31, 2019, a team consisting of 16 teachers and students from CAU’s College of Agriculture and College of Biological Sciences went to Wageningen University & Research (WUR) in the Netherlands for an 11-day study and cultural exchange activity. The team included 10 teachers and students from College of Agriculture, and 6 teachers and students from College of Biological Sciences. There are 10 undergraduates and 3 graduate students among them.
The team participated in multiple academic exchange events, and visited the lab and greenhouse of Wageningen University & Research, Yili European R&D center, Plant-e (a plant-microbial fuel cell technology company), Delphy (a greenhouse technology consulting company), Priva (a global leader of greenhouse and building environment automation and control company), recycling farm and Giethoorn, etc. They acquired an in-depth study of the Dutch agricultural philosophy, system and technologies.
